January, 2012- Flu vaccinations
We are running an extra clinic this Saturday, 7th January between 9 and 11 am. If you belong to one of the at risk groups, please call Reception on 020 8336 1773 to book an appointment. If you cannot make this time, then ask for an alternative flu vaccine appointment with the Nurse which will be available at other times.
It is recommended that you have a flu vaccine if:
- are 65 years old or over
- are pregnant
- have a serious medical condition (heart, lung, kidney, liver, neurological problems, diabetes or if you are immunosuppressed)
- are living in a long-stay residential care home or other long stay care facility (not including prisons, young offender institutions or university halls of residence)
- are the main carer for an elderly or disabled person whose welfare may be at risk if you fall ill
- are a frontline health or social care worker
