GPs prescribing Mounjaro

Many patients will have seen the information from various news organisations about GPs now being able to prescribe Tirzepatide (Mounjaro) as part of an approach to weight loss.  

As per the BBC article, there are strict criteria we have been given on who may have access to this option.  

We will be making contact directly with patients who are eligible for Tirzepatide as part of weight management according to the guidance at this point in time.
